Jo-Kirby Olongbo

Founder – General Director

Franco-Central African based in Quebec since 2012, Jo-Kirby is passionate about many causes, particularly those of women and youth leadership.

She was able to put her dynamism to good use within various organizations where she held several positions on the executive committee and board of directors.

A girl, a bag is first and foremost a childhood dream. When she was younger, Jo-Kirby saw herself as an advocate for women.

It was at the age of 9 that Jo was confronted with domestic violence for the first time through the famous series Monia & Rama. Coming from a family made up mainly of women, Jo knows only too well the suffering they endure on a daily basis.

Today, with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in regional planning, Jo is more determined than ever to pursue her first passion.

By founding Une fille, Un sac she put into practice one of her favorite quotes “Don’t ask what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”
