Une Fille, Un Sac (One Girl, One Bag) comes from the idea that the handbag could be a woman’s favourite object; she takes it everywhere she goes. If one handbag can be a woman’s best friend, then every young girl should have their own backpack.

Although education is a basic human right, in many countries women and girls do not have access to it. According to UNESCO, there are still over 31 million girls who do not have the chance to go to school. « To educate a girl is to educate a nation » because these girls are tomorrow’s leaders and will be called to make decisions in their professional and private lives. Furthermore, education makes it possible to acquire abilities which are necessary for any human society development.

At Une Fille, Un Sac the present generation is fighting for the next one: we want to create this virtuous circle which gives back confidence to women while supporting young girl’s education.

Our main goal: Acting on both scales. The organization wishes to equip and support women in their personal development through a range of professional and / or social activities.

For young girls, we wish to increase schooling rate: purchase of supplies, donations of food and any other means that would improve girls school learning and / or increase the number of girls enrolled in school.

To become this woman clothed with self-confidence, you must have been a girl able to dream. This is why at Une Fille, Un Sac we will always try to work on both sides.
